George Lynch Guitar Info Pahhleeze

Hey dudes, long time lurker. Anyhow does anyone have any info on George's strat in this picture.
I'm talking about about the second one from the front right, sanded hardtail I think?

I think that one is actually covered in cowhide, not sanded.
 
Yeah think thats a ESP one of he had done.
Remember seeing a video when he showcased all his guitars at his house and that one was there.
 
Yup, cowhide. The guitar to the left of George is covered with patches of denim, nicknamed the "pants" guitar. In his REH video he used a blue velvet covered guitar.

Coverings = tone? :D
 
Ok I vaguely remember the cowhide one. I also always wondered what happened to his satin blue fabric covered ESP, have not seen it in years. I missed that video I'll look for it. Thanks for the replies, I have a huge amount of gear and want to start posting clips, vids, etc... Actually contribute, ya know? Have a great Sunday to all!
Oh, and duh, the blue velvet one like previously mentioned, or is it suede?
 
I must say though my all time favorite is the quilt maple ESP he has. Hopefully still has it, I would never get rid of that one.

I think potentially yes . I have covered 3 guitars now with various materials and they all share a nice warm tone that wasn't as evident before the fabric went on......needs to be on raw wood though



I have been trying for years to find a picture of george with a carved snake guitar, as a teenager in the mid 80's I had it on one of my folders at school. It had snake heads on each horn and was greenish from my fading memory :doh:
 
I know it isn't lynch...but I did a quickie inner-web search for the snake guitar....as I vaguely remember the picture your talking about and stumbled into this.

I think there is a video on here somewhere with eddie playing that

not the guitar I am looking for though......need to try and refine my google search :doh:
