First off I am very impressed with the Jr.'s built quality....It's like a mini tank.If I had to describe the way it sounds is it is very articulate with big wide open sound.I am running it through a Marshall 4x12 with Greenbacks

Thanks for the gut shots. A lot crammed in there. At least flying leads on the control pots.

Looks cool.

I hate JJ EL84’s. I much prefer the old Russian 6P14P tubes by a mile.

Thanks for the gut shots! Looks like an awesome amp and just as loud as the PT20. These things are going to sell.

For the price I would expect new production mullards for power tubes.

Nice and clean assembly. Should kick some ass.

What's up with C7 and C10?

But yeah - looks damn clean. Thanks for posting

Everything about this amp make me want one :(

Don't have a problem with JJ power tubes but I remember there was a big deal several years ago about their QC on the EL84s. I'm not a fan of Chinese pre's personally but there are a ton of people that swear by them so there's that.

TS - what is that part at the bottom back panel about "change de meme type"

Looks to be loaded from the bottom of the PCB - keeps prying eyes out I guess! LOL

JJEL84's are fine I have had good consistent results with them. I am generally not a fan of Chinese preamp tubes either, but they can be great for some amps.
