The Nitro is not nearly as popular as the Quick Rod so I'd say you'd take a big hit on it. Buy used. If you love it and want to upgrade to a new version at least you know you like it.

What pickups are you using? If your staying SSS keep the 250k pots. If your going to HSS Id use a 500k volume.
