Only modeller I liked was the Peavey BAM210..... :lol: :LOL: Have not tried the Ax, no desire to do so. Just geeky electronics & computer driven curiosity is all.

A big difference is going to be the saddle height off the top of the body. Strat bridge sits a lot lower than the Floyd, that can effect how you play. My preference would be the Charvel. I love Floyds and hate the location of the Strat vol pot.

17k on my $30.00 Logitech speakers, but not on my Bose headphones??!? I pop in earplugs when the monitors or cymbals actually cause pain, but I've only been doing that a couple years. I usually wake up the next morning from practice with my head still ringing, so I guess I'm fortunate.

Got one and love it. Unexpected benefit was the buffer input. The straight through input works great w/10' guitar cable in / 10' out of board to amp. On longer cable runs the buffer is really, really good, and obviously you are still running a buffer when all your other pedals are bypassed.

Umm... Maybe YOU should read the OP, the whole thread, and my previous posts describing how I've seen this system used, before jumping all over me and assuming I'm talking about you....when I was actually paying you a compliment because you are using the system correctly. Thanks poophead. :D

If you get the chance, try a Krankshaft. I prefer it over the Maxon 808.
