"We do not feel that this issue is substantial enough to warrant building a replacement at this time. We can fix this neck and return it to you" .....BINGO, admission of guilt.
Companies like this do not deserve our business. Fuck them...and any company like this. Never will see 1$ from me. For...
If you want something to do any amp with I recommend the Compu-bias, have one use it for every amp. Gives you plate voltage so you can do proper calculations, little base with wire goes between tube and socket. Works well, easy to use. Costs a few bucks ($200 or so but they do show up cheaper on...
The Suhr bag (soft case really) is not anything like the typical gig bag, really really nice stuff if you like the lighter weight and ease of loading plus it won't scratch up your car interior...I also like the thinner plastic cases that came with my Pro's at one time, also very light but hard...
That amp is a no brainer, get a meter from radio shack for example with mV and set it per the chart. Doesn't get any easier than that amp with the bias test points and the trim pots right there like that. Red to red and black to black test each pair and set each side with the trim pot for that...
The Pro's come with soft case, about the nicest of any soft case I've ever seen. Any custom should be coming in a G&G Hardcase, but yes you do have the choice and it is a separate line item on the ordering form if I'm not mistaken.
No. HE is one of the best guitarists and writers to ever come out of Canada IMO. Look him up, was part of and leader of Max Webster and came up with the Rush boys and I learned of him when they opened for Rush. I opened and closed shows with him when he went solo and he is an awesome guy and...
Dan, best of luck on a full recovery...the bug to play will bite again when you start feeling better. Best wishes man, I know you've been thru the ringer but you're coming out on the other side so it'll all be good. Thanks for sharing what you've been thru...it can help others. Be well...
Bob
I have both, the 25 is right there IMO some ways better as it gets the goods at realistic volumes and it has a proper loop that works and works well. Downside is 25 really doesn't have a true clean (or clean switch) but you can back off the gain enough to get there if needed. I like em both just...
They are showing up used now, bought mine mint for $1500 which I thought was reasonable...get a used one from GC and return it if it doesn't out SLO your SLO
That's why I have my Hot Rod 25, sounds damn close and no ear bleed. Actually sounds better at useable volume to me. Still has that upper string thing going on too. I set my gain about the same as you BTW.
Yeah, a shitty new world. Thanks. I agree with him. If you're younger you don't get it, if you're above 40-45 or so you most likely do. Maybe you like working for free or almost free, I don't. He doesn't either. Can't say I blame him. The problem is there is no revenue in any of that stuff, no...
