Going to replace the tubes in my uber rev blue. What have you all found so far ? I'm looking for something to open it up a bit more . I don't want to lose that dark compressed tone but just add a bit more air and definition. Thoughts?

I have a friend who is working on a partscaster and needs to put in some pickups. Single coils. He wants the essential smashing pumpkins tone. Im a HB guy thru and thru so I didn't have an answer for him. Hope you all can hook him up. Suggestions?

Anyone own these back in the 80s/90s. It was my first amp, the GK 250 ML and I'm seriously thinking of buying one for nostalgia. Loud little sucker with on board chorus and echo.

I'm in the market for a really nice glassy and warm clean head for under 1k used. Has to be 8 Ohms for my Bogner 2X12 open back. One or 2 channels is fine but I'm not interested in the gain side. I just need a pure dedicated clean channel. Having a loop would be great but not essential. what...

What do you all think of these 2 amps. Not looking for ' x amp kicks ass and Y amp sucks' Just looking for some descrips as far as how open or compressed they are, brightness, mids, bass response, gain,etc... Sold my Bogner 20th ann shiva after a 3 year love affair and interested in both of these.
