ATM I'm living in an apartment with relatively thin walls, and therefore need to keep things turned down. Is it possible to do a quality mix down without being very loud? I'll be recording and monitoring through headphones, but I know mixing through headphones is generally a bad idea. Until I...
My Focusrite Clarett has 4 balanced trs 1/4 outs, and the Mackie monitors I ordered take balanced trs 1/4, XLR, and RCA in. Which is the best option for the monitor in, or does it matter at all? Thank you in advance.
P.S. I ordered Mogami balanced 1/4 trs on both ends, but it's not too late to...
To my horror, I just found out that the company closed up shop, man I really want to pick one of these up, but I would imagine the used prices are now insane considering they're no longer being produced

are these decent monitors in general? What, if any, would be a better choice for low volume monitoring? I live in a studio apt and won't be able to crank my monitors. Would appreciate any recomendations for any monitors the effectivly represent the entire spectrum range. Thank you in advance!
I’m thinking of picking a pair of these up, but I’ve heard they have weak bass, even though they sound great otherwise. Do you think the 8’s would have decent enough bass, or should I be looking at some other options? They make a sub-woofer, but I’m thing an 8” speaker should produce enough on...
So far each plugin I’ve tried sounds really thin and weak. Both Bias and S Gear. I think I’m running a decent enough preamp, I’m using a Focusrite Clarett 2 Pre via USB C connection on both ends. Is this normal, do they all sound this way, or am I doing something wrong? Reaxis looks promising...
Currently downloading, as Marshall tone is where its at for me. Is this a quality plugin? I know the Triaxis is probably the best, but I’m a diehard Marshall fanboy. Thank you in advance
Also downloaded Reaper
I hate to be a little bitch, but the activation protocols for the Reaxis stuff...
And the main reason is because it works as a stand alone, had relatively good experience Bias for iPad, and its dirt simple to use. I will absolutely be getting Reaxis soon, right after I can confirm it works in Reaper, as well as some other suggestions
Just tried the free version of bias desktop, and its so bad that I’m scared to get the full version. The free version of Reaxis requires endless setup protocols, but I’m temped to get the full version due to its reputation, I just want to be able to play, instead of dealing with setup protocols...
Thinking about pulling the trigger on one of these. I’m tired of RG570’s, but love the Ibanez necks. I wanna step it up a couple of notches, and I dig the looks of the SFG Jem. Anybody spent time on one of these, and can you get the action reasonably low without massive fret buzz? That’s my main...
I’m scraping by with Bias on iPad for now, until I get my pc built, but it sounds pretty horrid. It sounds and reacts like someone went in with a parametric eq and thinned out all the frequencies. I’m considering holding out for the Axe FX III, but in the mean time, is there any decent guitar...
The scarf joint on one of my Rg570's has shrank over time and caused a back bow at the first fret and slightly at the second fret. Is there an easier solution than shaving the fretboard down? Here are a couple of pics of the action higher up:
Thank you,
Bella

Some times we forget how good we had it. I'm so very greatful I grew up in my time
Sorry I'm having trouble embedding, but the link should work, if not I'll retry.
Yes, it's purple, very purple, but I've been unable to pin the exact official color of this one. Not purple neon, maybe metallic purple? Any help mucho appreciated!
I'm looking at synth pedals & am wondering is there anything better than the Ehx Micro Synth? I prefere a polyphonic pedal, but am willing to consider any cool sounding synth pedal.
