Emailed him last night and he emailed right back. Is this thing an exact copy inside and out, true circuit? Hoping so, it at least looks like it.
I wonder if there's any risk having customs nab it into the US. I'm going too ask him if he can change the name to something else.
searching for stuff on the RM22 I just bought. I have RT2/50 and RM5o rigs already so I know what to expect I guess. glad to see all this love for it form years ago. sadly they didn't sell well and aren't everywhere. I love the MTS.
thanks, dead people
into a Marshall?
Or will bit be about the same? I get pretty good heft, palm thud, sustain/harmonics and great non-fizzy overdrive tone from my Blue pedal into my Marshall style amp and it sounds wonderful. While I've never played an Ecstasy but I have heard them and my simple rig is...
new ones? My Blue pedal is the greatest overdrive/dirt box I've ever owned. I think Ive owned quite a few.
what are they proposing they've improved? I guess I have an option of modding an MTS module to an XTC or getting a pedal that surpasses the current issue Blue. better option would be...
I had gotten the idea that the modules had more gain than the amp. Based on older demos the amp sounded lower gain, classic rock but maybe that was just how it was used.
I did mod a DIY DS module thinking it would get me close to that sound but it has way too much gain. I can turn it down...
Is the Synergy mods intended to sound just like the amp if I have the same power tubes and speaker/cab as the amp?
Or, should I expect it to be "in the spirit of" the sound of the Dirty Shirley amp? that is, similar gain structure, similar tone pocket but really it's own thing?
I'm asking...
I've heard rumors. This could be interesting. Is there any knowledge which ones, or maybe an original design?
...Although I can get extremely close to Ecstasy sound with my Bogner Blue pedal and Salvation Duoplex MTS module. I mean, really close.
anyway, interested to see what happens
I did a self mod to an MTS mod to the DS specs. it could still use some beef although the sound is great. Does the pedal concentrate on the expanded mids sound of the DS or does it allow one to dial in a bit more bass response than the Dirty Shirley is designed for? The amp itself is such a...
I have a 2 x 12 with a Creamback 65 and a Reeves Purple cast frame. great combination of syrup and power. wonderful definition and heft.
I prefer the sound of a recorded V30 over a live one. That mid range crackle hump is a bitch
haven't heard much about Synergy as of late, many people doubt it's eventual rollout. I know that Bogner was approached but hadn't heard if they ended up doing anything with them. I love my MTS system and would consider a new Bogner preamp if they existed, although Salvation makes some damn...
Probably a long shot hope but I'm very excited about the idea of a Bogner/Synergy preamp. I had heard that they may do it but there was no verification that they would.
It would be a cool thing for the MTS users out there as well as the new Synergy guys, if that ever happens.
If so, what...
I am hoping to see at least one Ecstasy preamp for Synergy. I've heard a few mentions that Bogner had thought about it but were undecided......
it would be cool. I know the existing MTS mods are great and may yet be as accurate as possible but still wondering what Bogner would add to this
over at Grailtone are some reports....http://mtsforum.grailtone.com/viewforum ... d48c632a46
very exciting. I'm peeling money aside for the new 20 watt amp.
I have built a headshell for my RM50 that has space for my Rm4. I have not yet fitted the RM4 into the head because of weight but I will soon as the idea of 6 channels is nice. My bulky contraption would be far less refined than Synergy's solution. I also use the Rm50 cabinet for a 1x12 with...
