Best setup for recording High gain Marshall with no cab.

I plug a NMV Marshall through a power load IR. Can’t go wrong with any of the other load boxes mentioned, the Suhr IR loader is solid as well.

Is the Bare Knuckle Painkiller suitable for Standard E or Drop D?....

Sure they can, PK's have a high-mid spike and are quite aggressive. Not in a harsh way, but you notice it when switching between other guitars. I've since changed out my PK's in favor of Miracle Mans since I wanted a flatter frequency response, but I did lose that high mid cut in the process...

    Bogner 4x12 cab question

No clue tbh. Haven't opened the rear to check.

All this I’m hearing about early 2000’s Mesa Cabs

Had one and I don’t remember it being anything special. I assume 20 years from now people are going to rave about the current Mesa 412’s. The “older the better” theory is nonsense to me.

    Bogner 4x12 cab question

Had a Bogner 412SL back in the mid 2000’s and currently have a Uberkab. Love both em. SL was rear loaded with while the uberkab is FL. Some prefer RL cabs but FL uberkab just sounds killer. I use a Fryette power load IR for the majority of recordings but can’t see myself parting with the uberkab.

Back in the tube amp game with a bang, which fourth amp?

Pretty much agree with everything Ventura said. Bought mine 8 years ago and still own it. Tons of low end, lots of gain on tap, EQ has a really wide sweep especially in the mids, and gets LOUD. People either gel with them or dont, Its definitely not a surgical tight amp, more saggy and beefy...

Celestion Redbacks: What's your opinion of them?

They don’t cut through like a V30, rather darker and smoother. They do work well for a wide array of styles imo.

    Bias Probes

I haven’t seen one, but would be a nice option for people not wanting to poke inside the amp. You can always check your PV by measuring pin 3 on your output tube socket with a multi meter.

    Ever Have a Record where….

I would listen to this record religiously. Saw them live in 2012, back when Jon Brannstrom was still in the lineup. Great band. Don’t really care for their new stuff though.

    Parametric EQ

Graphic EQ's are easier to dial in imo, Para EQ's are cool, but need more time to be dialed in right. Just depends what you prefer. If I had to pick, id go with graphic EQ.

The SD-1 rivals boost pedals triple its price. Its a mainstay for a reason.
