I love the invective, it has the best features of any modern amp for me personally. I only use 2 effects in the loop, and with the built in 9v power, OD and noise gate this head made my rig so simple. Wicked amp!

I’m more into amps that don’t need a boost nowadays. Loving the peavey invective, boosts built in so I can keep a very small pedalboard.

Lynchmod is a little darker IMO, has a lot more gain as well

What I did like about the Lynch Mod though (as some briefly said above) is that it had tons of gain yet no noticeable noise, I literally used it with the gain knob 9/10

I used the lynch mod in my jcm 800 for a bit, it sounds good but honestly a good overdrive does what the lynch mod does but better
