I’d do Paul Gilbert’s instrumental version of Holy Diver by Dio using this backing track.

NEWS FLASH: All Noise Gates Suck…Tone

Here’s how I had it set when I first had it. I still have hold at 10 o’clock, but now I run the release a bit lower between 10 and 11 o’clock.

NEWS FLASH: All Noise Gates Suck…Tone

I don’t hear any tone suck with my Zulu+ dialed in using the key input with the serial effects loop of my Mesa Boogie JP2C. For high gain rhythm tones, it sounds awesome. For leads, I click it off just because I like to sustain notes longer than what is optimal for rhythm settings.

    Furman: P-1800 AR vs PFR

As he grew older and became skilled, we got into tube amps and cabs starting with a B52 AT100 212 combo (yikes). We...

Wizard Amp User Gallery. Post a pic if you have a Wizard.

Just received my first Wizard & I’m highly impressed with the sound & build quality! I’ve only owned 6L6 amps in the past & have wanted an EL34 based amp this time, so I ordered it built for E34L tubes.
