Sounds pretty solid! I think the core sound is pretty much there — but I think there’s a bit too much reverb happening maybe (kind of personal taste though)

Overall great job!
 
This simply confirms what I already knew - I NEED one of these Axe-FX units!! Sounds great!

I’ve yet to play someone else’s EVH preset and have it translate well on my end, it’s just such a sensitive tone that the individual player/pickups/monitoring system has so much play in it that it just never works from one guy’s AxeFX to another, in my experience.

I was always partial to Ed’s Van Hagar tones, specifically on Balance. Mostly because I started playing about a year before Balance came out and they were all over MTV at the time, I thought ‘7th Seal’ sounded fucking badass. I did a cover of it a couple weeks ago after dialing up a preset in my AxeFX-

 
Now that is some authentic Balance era tone! This song is one of my favorite Van Hagar songs as well. Nice playing.
