He guys just wondering what your thoughts are on this. I am putting together a 3 channel build that started out as a Leviathan/BE deluxe but i plan on making a lot of changes. I will be ditching the Diode clipping as I just don't care for it. Clean will be a 2 stage plexi clean. I added another tube of the clean channel like the BE Deluxe. So 4 preamp tubes
My question is why does the BE Deluxe share the first gain stage with clean and crunch ? The second triode of that tube is not being used.
I would like to run from input to first triode of V1A and then out to V2 A and B for clean and run from input to V1 B to V3 A & B for the crunch channel.
Any reason not to run it this way?
I am running 4 preamp tubes and no need to share first triode. I could see if you could only run 3 preamp tubes and you need to share V1A.
I posted a Layout of the Leviathan for reference as this is the platform I am working from. But as I said I added a tube for dedicated clean channel.
