Just replaced the filter caps with a CE 80, 40, 30, 20 multi cap can in this 68' YBA-1 primarily to have it all moved away from the input section where installed from factory. I have some high gain mods and I'd like to keep it as noise-free as possible.
I got it all wired up and i realized something: I had reached for an otherwise identical CE cap can made in 2011. One I just ordered is slightly different with CPU mount ends vs Solder ends and a slightly different 80, 40, 40, 20 value.
Doesn't show any signs of leakage, though measured the Farads are a bit high for an 80, 40, 30, 20 cap (80 and 20 mains are in parallel).
Mains 80uf, 20uf parallel:
Screens 40uf:
PI 30uf:
Was kind of a pain in the @$$ to get it installed, I'd prefer not have to disassemble.
