hmmmm good question. I guess it is because they both have 4 channels, so I could easily adapt my Helix patches which switch the channels on the amps, without too much messing around.
I used to use the D-Moll live, which is 3 channels. And my presets on the Helix had a bunch of gain stages built in there, to dial back the gain on the amp or to add a boost or whatever. But when I went with the JVM, I didn't have to do any of that. Same with the VH4.
