I didn't want to wait or spend 35-40 bucks on the cable 
I took a pair of broken iphone headphones and cut the wire
Save enough so you can wire it to a jack - I used one from an old acoustic guitar
Use a tester to find out on the jack what goes where
And there ya go!!
