Hi all. I finally got a Fireball, but no footswitch - so was hoping for some advice.
The ENGL fireball 60 has a footswitch out (one 1/4 inch port) which links via trs stereo cable to a 2 button Z4 (sitching channels and master volumes).
What I wanted to do was to use a Y splitter cable and have one of the spilt cables go into a KMA Machines Pylon noise gate. This pedal has a channel switch port which allows for channel switching and noise gate to affect the dirty channel only. This would allow me to not have a bunch of pedals and literally have one to switch channel, noise gate, boost and eq as it has this on board. I wanted to know if this would work ?
I appreciate this is very specific a use that people may not have done - but would it work in theory ?
