I tried to do a deep dive on the search before posting - I know I read it somewhere, but can’t find it now…

The ENGL Blackmore had slight voicing changes in the very early versions, just trying to find the specifics of what the changes where in the very early models.

I don’t recall if it was in the gain structure or EQ. 🤔

The Blackmore was my first ENGL amp I've ever owned and that was back in '07. I chose that model since it had quite the lore back then. IIRC, the only thing I remember was that there was a slow hand and fast hand motion version. Tweaked voicing for sure and EL34 tubes in one or both versions. I'm not sure, it's been so long. My other guitarist in the band I was in back at that time had the slow hand and I thought my stock version was better truthfully. Meatier low mids and cut through better with the band. We both were using Mesa OS cabs.

I think there's only been one change. That was when they added the noise gate, and additional footswitch inputs/options.. I could be wrong.

The "Fast Hand Motion" was a Limited run that had EL34's.
