It’s local, but we’re an hour and a half away from each other. Actually not going thru with it. He wants a lot of cash on top of it. At first he made it seem like it would be a straight up trade, and I guess I can understand why. I remember when I bought mine it was $3500 new and I’d seen a new ESP original gong for almost 5k. I couldn’t figure out why tho. I had money for both, but went with the USA because of what it had going for it. The USA has the thicker body, I liked the heel sculpt and how the neck goes deeper into the body, also I was caught up with the fact that it was the first time a Japanese guitar brand looked to the US to build their guitars rather than the other way around like in the past with brands like Fender or Jackson. To me, that so cool and it being by one of my favorite guitar marks, plus it was the first year, ‘2014’ and number 39, so it’s an early run low serial number. I’ve also always wanted a no shit Original ESP. I’d lived in Japan for a few years and have been to all the Craft Houses and Custom Shops and seen how they are built, so I know with my own eyes that quality of the materials and craftsmanship. Still tho... I just can’t justify the Original having to be that much more expensive than the USA and it not being a straight up trade
