Hi all,
So I'm stumped with what is going on with my rig.
Amp- Hughes and Kettner Duotone with a parallell fx loop.
Pedals-a bunch...but in this scenario lets just say a Source Audio Nemesis Delay. I understand the difference between a parallell and series fx loop. I have my nemesis set to 100% wet.
When I plug directly into the amp and have the nemesis delay in the loop everything works and sounds great. No phasing..exactly what I invisioned.
However....my plan was to use my Boss ES-8 loop switcher to instantly load presets and so on. When I use the ES-8 in 4CM mode my nemesis pedal is phasey....really phasey. I'm trying to troubleshoot this. I know that digital devices and parallell loops don't get along because of the A>D/D>A conversions but with the nemesis set to 100% wet this would not be an issue.
Couple of additional details
.I'm using the Volume insert loop in the correct position on the ES-8. The delay is post preamp.
.I don't have any other pedals plugged into the ES-8 right now.
Thoughts?
