Here I am in the hotel, chating with a FOH engineer after our show last night in front of 15000 people. The amp sounded great, but there are few things I'd like to point out....
Projection of the sound... Well, I noticed that the tone coming out of the cab was more like a laser beam, and was to mellow and not that audible standing few feet side from the cab. It was not huge, but it was kind of a big difference. The stage was, however very large. I had In-Ear and it helped a lot since I had to run all over the stage.
I played lots of shows like this with Ecstasy 100b and had a better experince with sound projecting. It probably has a lot to do with my cab, since I still have a Randall XL cab with V30's and that suits Bogner better, I assume...
Anybody else had similar experince with Ccv?
Also FOH guy, who is my old friend
told me he had to bring the faders 5+ dB's more even though I killed the bass player everyime I switched to solo channel. He told there was no compression added to my channels. I was miced with 421 and 57..
