Hey all curious as to which of the amps would get closest to the Herb in Ch2 + mode

Would it be Dmoll ch2 ,Fokker or Einstein ch1 mega???

But the correct answer is "it depends". The midcut is essential to the Herbert sound, so if you want that...DMoll. If you don't use the midcut...Fokker.

Of course vh4 can't replicate herb's 2nd+ when midcut is engaged.

Reason for asking i am a fan of Zach Myers Shinedown madness tones and he says Diezel is that sound.

In the interview he shows his rig ,and comments I never go near the 3rd channel for me it's 2 in + mode .His mid cut is intensity 1oclock, level 1oclock.

is he actually scooping or boosting the mid with these settings???

Cool thanks Bato .but one further question isn't the mid cut only centred on 400Hz??

So if he cuts those is he essentially in essence put more focus on the upper mid cut ,and thinning out the chunk

his other setting are 4 bass ,5 mids, 6 treb ,deep deep noon
