i think it would be a cool idea to see peoples ideas on how they would order their axe... and if mike was really nice... he could give us quotes to make us feel poor...

For me:
Black Korina V body
Black Korina neck
Bound Ebony fretboard with no markers
Black OFR
EMG 81/60
24 XJ frets
Slight cutaway to allow easier access to top frets
V, V, MT + Three way blade switch

:bang:

i've got two more i plan on getting

a juggernaut:
mahogany body, wenge neck, rosewood board (natural finish)
24.5" scale
no binding, dot inlays
string thru bridge setup
sperzel tuners
black hardware
pointy headstock (maybe reversed)
duncan jb/59 pickups
1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way switch

and a singlecut:
mahogany neck and body, ebony board (satin black)
24.5" scale
neck/headstock binding, pearl block inlays
original floyd rose
grover tuners
chrome hardware
3+3 headstock
emg 81/85 pickups
2 volume, 2 tone, 3 way switch

I actually plan on ordering one of these

Juggernaut
Figured Koa Body
Mahogany neck
Ebony Fretboard
No inlays
Koa headstock overlay
Tung oiled neck
Natural finish on body
EMG 81/85 or 60
Volume, Tone, 3 way switch
Black hardware
Sperzel tuners
Binding on neck and headstock
string thru
Buzz Feiten tuning

Mahogany Body
Wenge neck
Cocobolo fretboard
Same options as above

Maybe Lindy Fralin pickups or Seymour Duncans or Gibson '57 humbuckers

juggernaut
all mahogany
ebony fretboard
offset inlays on the bottom side (so, in the high strings)
"hockey stick" headstock
no truss cover
grover tuners
les paul style bridge (tune-o-matic?)
black hardware
ultra-flat black finish
no binding...anywhere
1 pup (emg81)
no knobs...guitar hard-wired to volume full and tone full (high?)
2-way (on, off) kill switch (where a normal toggle switch would be)
24 "jumbo" frets with double dot at the 12th and 24th

i've actually been quoted on this guitar by jackson, esp & ran and so far, ran is the cheapest...jackson gave me an INSANE price on it.

So what were the quotes?????

wanna price?

Roughly $1500....... :D

although the "hockey stick" headstock would be up to Brent.

Hows that for G.A.S.? :D

fukker... :D

check this out...

ran guitars - 1100 eu (roughly $1300...not too bad)
esp guitars - $3200 :x
jackson guitars - $4450

on the jackson custom shop website, ANY neck-thru STARTED at $3300...before you even pick the wood! couldn't believe it. and esp wasn't much better. i like the ran but the wait is long cuz they're based in poland. i think if i ever get this guitar made...i'll go to guiterrez. thanks for the rough-quote man!

1100 eu = 1406 usd

of course the exchange rate is so whacky, that could change at any moment

http://finance.yahoo.com/currency/convert?amt=1100&from=EUR&to=USD&submit=Convert

thanks for the info...i don't really keep up on that sorta thing. :2thumbs:

Original Floyd Rose
3 Knobs (Volume, Volume, Tone)

we dont do other companies headstocks.

Other than the Tremol-no you should be able to figure your price on the Price List thread.
