Improving the right hand for a lefty who plays right handed

So I'm left handed but have always played guitar right handed. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but my right hand has always felt so slow and uncomfortable when trying to play fast. Any tips on improving right hand technique and speed?

A teacher of mine had me do triplets on one string seemingly endlessly until it became second nature. Just even while watching TV. Start on one string then add other strings, string skipping, etc.

Play scales and practice slowly.

Using a metronome, playing just one note on any string, or muted, start with whole notes, then continue to half notes, 8th, 8th triplets, 16th, 16th triplet etc...continue this pattern as far as you can. gradually speed up the metronome. Also, as mentioned above, practice scales focusing on acuracy. then, pick each note 2 times, 3 times, 4, etc, digital progression is also good, and commonly used it classical music.
