Jim Martin Tones

FNM had some cool material...Introduce Yourself was my favorite follwed by Epic. Angel Dust was just ok IMO.

i remember an interview in guitar world where he used a fuzzface to boost an 800.i think he had super distortions in his v.

Caught them on the reunion tour this summer in Philadelphia it was awesome..
But Hudson doesn't have any presence compared to Martin..

I havent seen them since they opened for SoundGarden during the Loud Love tour..

I had to buy this tour shirt

I don't care who you are, FNM's Angel Dust is a God damn master piece!

One of my fave's of all time. It still sounds as good as when i first got it. Its pure is fucking talent.

JM's tone is good, nothing too out there tho :dunno:

Most importantly, it works for the band.

I think back in the day with FNM he was using a Mesa Mark III

They played SNL and I remember him playing through a MKIII. I think he was using Marshall cabs?? Anyway, his tone was awesome.

Lol..Yep. Slammin' RIffs. His tone is perfect for the band-I think that's what I hear the most, a natural band. Nothing seems restricted or forced in there songs...
