Laney AOR 50 Series 2? or Marshall SLX 50?

Got the Laney... my guitarist is pushin his SLX... EL-34's... to sell me)

here go the questions

Tech question-Laney 50 watt AOR series 2... Channel 2, Diode Clip? or tube? (If it's diode, why the 4 pre's? the "green" channel 1 is not nearly distorted enough to need em) Green clean is HUGE warrm tuebyness... red channel TOO bratty....

General question-do you even mod that model Laney? or Marshall?

Yes we Mod the Laney AOR series and have a few Mods for this that sound great. I don't have the schematics in front of me so at present I cannot comment on the tech side, sorry.
