Mesa 4x12 jackplate. I'm baffled

I have a Boogie Mark V 35/25/10 combo. I'll be gigging soon, so I bought a used Mesa 4x12. I don't know how to correctly connect my amp to it. I plugged it into the 8-ohm output of my amp and I got a good strong sound, but only enough to check it. I can't find any manuals online, nor any discussion. Plenty of pictures, but no explanations. Can anyone give me the rundown on this thing. I know it's a common piece.

8 ohms jack on the amp, to 8 ohm input on the cabinet. Pretty much what you already did.

Okay, thanks! Do you know the method/purpose of the other two (4-ohm) jacks?

Use those only with a stereo power amp. Each channel would go into each 4 ohm jack.
