Hi All, I'm having a new headshell built for a Friedman JJ-100 that was damaged in shipping, so I have an opportunity to customize it. I am considering Blue or all black. Looking for some opinions from others. I wonder if blue would be a positive or negative for future resale. Let me know which you would go with!
Blue: I haven't found many pictures of these heads in blue, so it's hard to judge the exact shade of blue used due to lighting. If you have an amp with a blue headshell please post a pic!
Edit: Found another blue head on the Backroom Studio youtube channel.
All black: I think I may be able to still use the faceplace from the damaged headshell to go back to stock in the future. The amp is with Friedman now so I haven't seen the damaged head shell directly.
