I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the One Control Basilisk MIDI foot controller? I'm going to be using a G Major 2 along with my EVH 5153.....G Major in the loop for modulation and MIDI for channel switching. I'm not MIDI savvy but know enough to get going. Anyway, as far as MIDI controllers are concerned, I'm think I'm looking to keep things simple for now. I don't anticipate needing to execute more than a handful of patch changes and perhaps a few CC commands. The Basilisk caught my eye because it can do both up to 5 PC and CC changes per preset. It also has a 'flash' mode which allows all four footswitches to select a patch. The downside is only having two presets per bank in normal mode. I have considered the Tech 21 MIDI Mongoose and MIDI Mouse (PC changes only) as well as the Morningstar MC6 mkII. The Basilisk seems to have a few more options available over the Tech 21 stuff. I'm trying to keep costs at a minimum as well as keeping a small 'footprint' on my board. Any thoughts, suggestions, and guidance would certainly be appreciated.
Note - If anyone is looking to unload a MIDI foot controller PM me.
Thanx!
