So far mine are as follows:

Presence = 6
Bass = 7
Middle = 6
Treble = 6
Lead Gain = 10 w/lead boost pulled
Rhy Gain = 4

Speakers = Scumback M75 65 watters.....

When I played Steve's amp... the setting Were.

Gain: DIMED
Bass: 13 o'clock
Mids: DIMED
Treble: 11 o'clock or something...
I don't remember the presence, but I don't think it was very high.

Do you have the mids on 10 to compensate for a scooped paf style pickup? just wondering because I have a pearly gates in the bridge that has a mid hump and it might be too much if I dime the mids on teh map as well? curious to see how the mids work on the modern classic.

Do you have the mids on 10 to compensate for a scooped paf style pickup? just wondering because I have a pearly gates in the bridge that has a mid hump and it might be too much if I dime the mids on teh map as well? curious to see how the mids work on the modern classic.

No scooped sounding pickups here!
The bridge PU in the V is a Dean USA Vinnie Moore which has a nice even response. The neck PU is an Antiquity which are known to be quite heavy in the mids.

ok, sounds good...yeah the antiquity is probably an alnico 2 which would emphasize the mids. thanks.
