Profiling and Refining a Mesa Rectifier with a Kemper

I wasn't going for a perfect match here.

Two objectives are:

1. see what effects refining has on a profile.

2. see if the myths of Kempers signature sound are real. (mid hump, cocked wah...)

The changes are at the silence.

I matched the levels by ear which is tough as they have different frequency content.

No EQ or internal adjustments were made.

One is the real amp, one refined with EVH type riffing and another added plenty, fairly aggressively picked, palm muting riffs to the refining.

This is a raw Mesa Triple Rectifier Multiwatt in Modern mode.

Which is the real amp?

Great captures man. If I had to guess, 1 was the profile, 2 was the real amp and 3 was the refined
