PRS CE24's...

I played an old PRS CE 24 yesterday at a local shop. I was really digging the neck (wide-thin I'm guessing) and feel of the guitar, but they wanted too much and it was kinda beat up. Some gouges in the back of the neck that I wouldn't settle for. So I realized that I like this this model, even though I'm usually a 22 fret guy. Should I be on the hunt for an old one in nice shape, or should I look into the 2016 reissues? Has anyone compared old to the new ones? Thanks!

Killer guitars and priced cheap on the used market.
One of the few guitars I have not swapped out the pickups.
Craigslist is a good place to look.
Should be $1200 or less for non bird inlay necks

Love my older CEs. I have a 1993 CE 24 recently refretted, and a 1994 CE 22. Both GREAT guitars, and bought both for under $1k each. I haven't tried the new ones yet, however can't believe they are that much better than the older ones. Original pickups in both.

Very different than my core Customs, but they are a different animal and I reach for them on a regular basis.

I have a 2016 PRS CE24 and honesty it is the best guitar i ever owned....I have had many guitars in my time and this one just is perfect....

There is a 2016 for sale in Barberton Ohio.
Found it on Cleveland Craigslist.
