I actually had the SE+ before the PT. There is a Suhr video out there that explains it really well. The PT is more vintage-voiced and the SE+ is darker and more modern.

I ordered the handwired SE100 so when that comes I'll be sure to do a comparison.

Yeah but my PT also does the modern stuff real well. For me, its just about playing with the settings & as Pete Thorn says "Its all about flexibility with this amp"
