Any chance in a mod that will allow 6550's without the bottles touching? Aeroic "Eric" had this done on a VHT 2 90 2. just 2 would be fine on one channel.

Do think component level upgrades, like on the modules, are overkill on the power amp Dave?

There's a guy on the MTS board talking about a Mercury Magnetics transformer upgrade.
