Handwired metropolous Marshall with Dave Hopkins Pandora plus mod. Simple clean with bright switch. Low input ac/dc to 80s rock. High input 80s rock to Metallica/ slayer. Tight thump. 4 gain stage or use clipping switch on back which is Jose/Cameron mod. Metro zero loss Fx loop. Sag switch. Amp screams everything from hard rock to tight thumping metal. Yes the transformer legs are bent like on most amps I have had. Had amp serviced and tech said it poses absolutely no problems. 1600.00 shipped

I think that is because we love to hear each modders take on amps and even if someone likes their current mod, the new shiny thing that pops up next is too difficult to resist. That means that something has to go to try the new thing out. That is fairly common among us that split hairs on cable types, pick thickness, cabinet angle, etc...

The Pandora that I have is #10 according to the sticker on the back. Not sure how close to a stock 2203X it is with the mods switched off but the amp is quite versatile and does not have a bad sound in it. Just picked up an EVH 50 watt Stealth and I like the Pandora quite a bit more. Of course, they are different beasts but the warmth and feel of the Marshall are just better for me.

Edit: I sold a Yeti to help fund a Quick Rod and then sold the Quick Rod after I picked up the Pandora. YMMV.

I am so tempted to drain my spare funds for this as I've been wanting a hotrodded Marshall'esque amp and sometimes, you can't be an actual hotrodded Marshall circuit. I had a modded 18w Trinity Marshall clone and I looooooved it. It didn't even really need a boost due to the extra gain stage added. I'm sure this is even better.
