I was first on HC in the chat room when they had that. Probably around 1996 or 97? Not sure, but a long time ago.
I liked chat way more than the forum. I liked the “real time” interaction. When they shut that down, I moved over to the HC forum.
Good times! I stopped being a bonehead online many years ago. I used to jump in the middle of any argument to get everyone riled up. It sure was fun, but seems kinda stupid now. Lol

You know what though, xixixix was always a really cool guy..he was just misinformed and wealthy. I always told him JUST KEEP AN AMP FOR A WEEK...but he was just never happy. We make fun of guys turning an amp around in a week now...he was turning amps over in 6 hours!!

Yup, not sure if he ever got his money back. I think was loaded so losing $700 didn't matter much to him though.

Laughing! I remember all of this. Roland sure loved the Powerball. I had one but sold it after a few months. Derek closed Rock Solid Amps and now owns a vape store. The world keeps changing. I remember DerekB and Wizard of Ozz having huge shitstorm arguments too.
