I had two go unstable and will never buy another unless it is Roasted. I had a Roasted BE and it was fine.

Purpleibby Well-known member May 22, 2013 #4 Have owned guit w/a birdseye maple neck with a rosewood fb since 95 and it's never given me any trouble to speak of. It has a pretty thick slab of rosewood on it, don't know if that has helped with stability or not. No clear coat on it either.
