Hey everyone,
For this weeks post, I'd like to share my cover of "Sacred Wonder" by the great Tony MacAlpine (Maximum Security, 1987). I did my own improvisation on the 2nd half of the solo. I remember going to my first Tony MacAlpine concert not knowing much about him, but leaving with such a great impression of him. He's your typical 80s guitar shredder, but his music contains great melodies that are not overshadowed by solos. This song in particular stood out to me, and I'm very glad to cover this (even if it's a few years later)! There's no other high quality covers of this online, hope I did you justice Tony! As usual, this was played LIVE over a backing with no miming/audio edits.
