VHT CL w/EQ, Triple Recto, 6505 +, Stiletto Ace, DSL 100, Line Spider III (lol)....
You now what? The Tiny stood up to all of them tonewise really well. Of course this is a room environment....but still the big tube tone of that little amp is impressive. I like the VHT but it sounded a tad thin to my ears. What really shocked me is that the Mesa sounded too fizzy....I had a Dual for a year and loved it. I guess after playing this TT for a month 1/2 I have grown used to a more clear gain structure. The only amp that really has my gas inspired a bit believe it or not is the DSL. It and the TT actually have somewhat of a similar gain structure....but the DSL sounds a bit more refined with the better eq controls......I'm judging all these amps using an OD boost.....I am definitely an OD whore......I was all about getting another Mesa......now I'm not so sure.......I must be going insane.....I'm borrowig a DSL this weekend.....to try...
