Tool Practice Session: No FX, Backup Gear

Hard to tell what's on the front side, but from the rear it looks like one of his Silverbursts, which are LP Customs from the late '70s, early '80s.
Take a look @3:14 until the end.

Interesting. Actually, I think see the glint of a bolt-on neck plate too. So you may be right. It's backup gear, so maybe a standard or some other model he has laying around for practice. I wonder what amp he's using. Sounds pretty good to me!

Very cool. Great bands sound great, no matter the gear.
That riff is my most played one, when no one’s home and I can unleash the 72Trem.
 
With the neck plate it could be one of those old Gibson Sonex models. They made them in silverburst.
