Using TungSol 5881's in a MOD50/100?

Anybody here using TungSol 5881's in a MOD100? Was wondering if they were considered "safe", since there's a disclaimer on the Tube Store's site saying that they shouldn't be used in amps with a plate voltage greater than 400v. Not knowing what the MOD100's plate voltage is, didn't know if I'd blow the tubes up. :)

Thanks,

I've used them many times over the years in my Mod 100. Never had a problem. I"ve blown multiple EL34's but never a TS5881.

They should definitely be safe . . . from the Egnater MOD100 manual:

RECOMMENDED BIAS SETTINGS
6L6/5881..................25mV to 35mV
EL34/6CA7.................32mV to 40mV
E34L......................35mV to 42mV
6550......................35mV to 45mV
6V6 (JJ ONLY !!!!!!!).....18mV to 22mV
