Caldera (that showed up here
3 gain stages, between a JCM and BE. Era switch for lower- and higher-gain modes. New Caldera FX has tube-buffered loop and foot-switchable boost.
Denogginizer: 4 gain stages with a couple of era-type gain switches to cut gain in two spots. Gain can be tweaked all over the place, of course. We'll see how this one ends up

I never built with toroidal PT. I guess I need to try one.
I have three amp builds, just setting waiting for me to finish. I need to find the motivation.
Yeah, amp builds tend to "linger" sometimes.
