Vinnie Paul RIP

I am a fan from way back
i meet vinnie and the band when cowboys first dropped.
I got to spend time with darrell and did the monitors at a local show.
they couldn't be any more down to earth, reckless and fun.
i met them again after they "made it" and they remembered me and nothing had changed.

they were still the same crazy ass metal maniacs only now with more means [whiskey.LSD and weed and blank video stock]

this is an awful thing and I feel really bad for jerry and rita.

here is a killer article on VDOP very much worth your time,

Yeah it was, and that song I have never heard. Definitely fits the Vulgar/Far beyond driven sound but I can see why they did not include it.

This is exactly the kind of thing that inspired me to play when I was young. These regular guys weren't regular at all, like the brave Navy Seals say who travel the road less traveled, "damn few" these regular guys who absolutely kicked ass day and night are now legends and the world has another void because of them. RIP to them and their families. GOD BLESS THEM ALL :rawk:

RIP, what a shame. Like many above my first thoughts were how hard it must be to lose 2 sons. I’ve got 2 myself and I couldn’t go on if they both died. Just so damn sad.

They said it was a major heart attack.
Scary man.

Too young - so sad. I'll bet he had a Heart attack from sleep apnea. Shit will kill you - especially if you're a drinker.
