I recently sent my Peavey 5150 into the Voodoo shop for their latest circuit updates. They installed a choke along with some component updates. It went off to the NY Amp Show right after being modded -- did anyone get to play on it?? (White head case with Silver Circle-V logo)
I recently got this amp back in my possession. Holy Carp!!!! I'm not one to toot my own horn here, but this head sounds absolutely AMAZING now!!!
I know threads like this are useless without clips, so I'm going to try and get a buddy of mine with helping me produce some. But to anyone with a 5150 -- wow!! You should consider this latest circuit update. It's massive sounding and just a tone monster.
