I'm probably gonna get blasted for this, but

David Lee Roth - Eat 'Em and Smile.

Strong musical identity from everybody in the band, intense performances and massive commercial success. While it's hugely dated, it was brilliantly executed for its time.

Favourite songs change from day to day. Right now it's probably "Blast" from Marcus Miller.

Story of the year: In the wake of our determination.

I've used it as my gym soundtrack since it came out.
