What speakers are you all using these days?

Please tell me more. I have a Marshall 1960BHW & i'm not super fond of the G12H30 That come in that cab.
 
I just bought a pair of Weber Silver Wolfs to try out in a couple of different cabs. I'll try them on their own in a 212, mixed with 2 Grey Wolfs in a 412 and mixed with a 15" Blue Dog in my 212/115 cab. Since they're made to order it'll probably be about 2 weeks before I get them. Then take the time do the speaker swapping. While I'm at it I may see how they mix with a G12K100, G12T75 and some WGS Retro 30's I have laying around. Once it's all said and done I'll report back.

Have you ever tried the Alnico 90 watt Creambacks ??? I have one in my Mesa closed back 1x12 ...... it's crystal clear .. super articulate ...
unfortunately they are going for 320 a piece now .
 
Currently a mix in both my cabs. Before mixing these two was never really a fan of mixing speakers except for GB's on top and Annis on bottom of the Mojave 4x12's I used to own. Best sounding cabs I ever heard. But that same mix did not work well with Splawns and other cabs I've had.

Bogner 2x12 - V30 & G12H30 Annis
Marshall 4x12 - V30's & G12H30 Annis
 
cabs the speakers are in are just as important

I have 2 that get most of my time - Bogner 4x12 with greenbacks (I think heritage) that I've had and used for a very long time. Good and broken in. The other is a Mesa OS 4x12 with the mesa v30's.

I have a Two Rock 4x10 with WGS veteran 10 (stock Two Rock speakers) I use with a two rock and I also have the V30/G12M in a Matchless DC30 2x12 combo I can tap into as well.
 
Egnater Armageddon 4x12 cab with 2 G12T75's and 2 Egnater Elites (rebranded K100's if memory serves). Cab is built like a freakin' tank. Sounded killer when I ran my Peavey 5150 combo through it (Gawd I miss that amp). I have a Peavey Triple X head and that doesn't sound good with this cab. With the Triple X, the cab is very "hard" sounding...ear fatigue happens in just a few minutes. I have a Peavey Triumph 60 combo that I'm going to test the cab with. I'll probably swap in 4 EVH Celestions into the cab later. James Brown says that the Triumph amps get a good EVH tone when running thru low wattage Celestions. Down the rabbit hole I go.
 
I have a Bogner Uberkab loaded with Fane F70’s and a Rivera 4x12 loaded with older English GB 25’s x Mesa Boogie V30’s.
