Nice playing. The tone itself is a bit hollow/scooped. Pump those mids. If I remember right, there are 2
Mid freqs that are very prominent in that tone. 1 around 500hz and the other around s 2200hz. Have fun!

Yeah, I was trying to keep it simple as possible and not cram a whole bunch of eq on it. I think I can fix that in the daw. Mine is a little thicker in the low miss but yes, there is a little studio magic going on.
I originally recorded it with a Hetfield LTD, but it sounded really thin in the mix.

The bass is baked into the backing track. Can't do anything about that without running vox and drums up.
