Wtf is wrong with my diezel cab?

Just got a Diezel front loaded 4x12 g12k100

Normally I play through a recto cab with v30s

Plug in my Herbert. Holy god, this thing sounds like absolute shit. Harsh, thin, anemic, tinny. Theres scooped, and then there’s tin-can scooped. This sounds like the latter.

A Herbert shouldn’t sound like a burzum album

Opened the cab up, everything is wired fine

I’m used to initial harshness with new speakers but this would be some next level shit if it actually breaks in nicely

My normal v30 recto cab absolutely shits on it. Thicker, an existent low end, present mids.

Uhh…. Is this normal? If this thing ain’t defective looks like it’ll be going on Craigslist soon

Sounds like some of the speaker is out of phase. Try 9V battery test or check wiring again.
It was a phase issue but, not the speaker's

I’m a dumbass

I run my axe fx thru the loop in parallel. I accidentally changed the delay and reverb block to not kill dry, and it wasn’t mixed 100%, so there was a phase issue in the parallel effects loop of the Herbert, between the dry passing through the loop, and the dry bypassing the loop entirely.

My SE and 5153 I ran thru it after posting this, they sounded great, with no parallel fx.

Figured I was fucking ip with the amp, and I was lol

Nvm I was the problem now it sounds really good
