If you wonder how pissed off these get, when I owned the VC-100 I had a REVV G3 Purple pedal in front and used the level as the master volume - it was one of the most devastating metal tone's I'd ever heard - felt like the 412 was about to explode, tons of thump and was a chug machine. Or you can just play Steely Dan on it if that's more your thing
