I've just bought one of these vintage rack delays but first time powering on there was no sound. Bypass worked and passed through audio fine (you can hear the relay click) but when disabled it was enabled it was silent, no level led, nothing. There sounded like a bit of DC on the output level pot when turning it. About 30 mins later it started working, and has been fine for the last two days.
I opened the case to see if there was something lose inside but it was fine (lots of chips!).
Question is, what might cause it to not produce sound initially? Worried it's an intermittent fault that could become terminal if not investigated.
It sounds glorious though.
